To ensure your purchase arrives in perfect condition we pack it well. We have chosen a packaging system that presents your purchase well as a gift and is approved for postage. To protect the gift pack we wrap with a layer of Kraft paper for post. Our packaging is 100% Australian, made from a minimum of 80% recycled materials, compostable and recyclable. No ink or dyes are used. Our labeling system is thermal and consumes no ink. If you find bubble wrap in your package it's because we are reusing materials someone else was going to discard. Please reuse any materials you can. We may reuse materials such as bubble wrap when available.
Because we make each item to order it's possible to make something a little special based on what is in the shop. Totally unique items can be done, but will take some extra development time. Please email your ideas.
All products are hand made. It takes time and energy to produce each individual product. There is no wholesale markup, so you get the best price we can offer. Our prices exclude GST at the moment because we are a small business and are not registered for GST at this stage.
Our products have very little that can go wrong. If, in normal use you experience a fault with the materials or manufacturing twohands will repair or replace the item at our discretion. We will even pay the postage within Australia to get it back to you. Please email us with the details of the concern and attach some pictures to help speed things up.
We love to make what you want. Sometimes ideas don't suit the direction twohands is going or we can't make it with our set up. It may even simply be too expensive to make. If you share an idea with twohands you may be original or it's possible that you're close to someone else's ideas. We are always seeking unique solutions and your idea might inspire us to think of other things to make. If you have any concerns about ownership or want payment for your idea it might be best to keep it a secret. If you want to collaborate please send an introduction email first.
You can pay for your order with credit cards, Paypal and direct deposit through the secure SSL. In some instances we will allow cash on pick up on the Sunshine Coast QLD. Please email us to organize this.
Every item is made to order, just for you. This way we give all our attention to detailing every item like it was the first one. All items will be shipped within 7-10 days. If there is any delay we will contact you straight away. Seasons like Christmas will be busy so please order early. If you have an urgent request please email your needs and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Absolutely. Twohands has added an encrypted SSL provided by one of Australia's leading hosts to ensure your data is protected.
Where possible twohands will source materials that fulfill our aim to have low impact and reduce waste. Our low volume process means we can use odd sizes that aren't suited to mass production. We can also reuse materials from previous products or structures. We make sure that the material is up to standard and suitable to the end use.
Your order is checked for payment and that all the materials are ready to go. Your order is grouped in with similar orders and then we get to have a great time making it for you. Once it's perfected we pack it and ship it to you. We will keep you informed of the dispatch.
Yes, we work hard to deliver exactly what you order. However, each item is hand made from start to finish, so there will be very subtle differences. If you order multiples of the same design we will make them together to match the details. Materials will have unique characteristics such as color and grain that may differ from the photo.
Twohands does not have a show room and the workshop is not suitable for site visits due to safety regulations. For now we can blog about the work shop and processes. Ask us what would you like to know?
A receipt and order number is automatically generated at the check out.
We understand that situations change. If you wish to return an item please email us first and providing the item is returned in the same condition we will refund you.
If you find you're waiting too long for the delivery please contact us. Keep in mind weekends and public holidays can slow down your delivery. Please allow up to 5 days for it to arrive. If your item is damaged please email a photo of the package and the damage. We will spring into action and get it resolved. PLEASE NOTE: twohands can not take responsibility for lost orders.
